Family-Owned Equipment Brokers In Central Iowa

Iowa Equipment, L.L.C. has spent its working life doing one thing: getting the right machine to the right operator, and getting sellers paid what their iron is genuinely worth.

Our Story

Brokering Beats Trading. Every Time.

Iowa Equipment, L.L.C. provides sophisticated brokering services to companies that need to acquire, sell, or rent equipment. This family owned company offers a wide variety of products to accommodate your equipment needs.

We will expedite your search for the right piece of machinery and simplify the buying process. That is the part most people underestimate — not finding a machine, but finding the one that suits the job, the operator and the budget, and then getting it to your yard without a month of phone tag.

Unlike many dealerships, we can sell your used equipment for its TRUE value. A dealer's trade-in number protects the dealer. A brokered sale puts your machine in front of buyers who actually want it, which is a very different number.

Iowa Equipment, L.L.C. is located in the Des Moines metro area, but supports customers nationwide. Let us support you when you are buying, selling, or searching for new equipment.

How We Operate

Four Things We Refuse To Compromise On

None of this is complicated. It is just increasingly rare.

We Answer The Phone

You get a person who knows the inventory, not a queue and a ticket number. Most inquiries are answered the same business day.

We Search, Not Upsell

If the right machine is not on our lot, we go find it. Steering you toward whatever we happen to be holding is not brokering.

We Report Honestly

Hours, undercarriage, wear items, known faults. You will hear the bad with the good before you commit freight money.

We Ship Anywhere

Based in the Des Moines metro, working nationwide. Transport gets arranged as part of the deal, not as your problem afterwards.

The Process

What Working With Us Actually Looks Like

Tell us what the job needs

Size class, reach, hours you can live with, and what the work actually demands. A machine that is right on paper and wrong for the site helps nobody.

We search our network

Our own inventory first, then the nationwide network of sellers, fleet turnovers and auctions we have built over years of doing this.

You get the honest rundown

Photos, hour readings, condition notes and a straight answer on what will need attention in the next thousand hours.

We close it and move it

Paperwork, financing if you need it, and freight to your yard. On the sell side, we market your unit and handle the sale end to end.
